A New Day - P. Noy

We now officially have a new President. Let today mark a new day in our lives as Filipinos. Let us bid our former President goodbye and wish her good luck, she has done the best she could and it was not a bad effort to say the least. She has gradually and steadily improved our country, although it was not obvious to most people, she did the best she could. Now, we have a new President, let us rejoice and welcome a new system, new governance. Let us stand united and cheer him on.

Regardless of which President we voted for we should now act as a united country, let us respect the new President and work hard with him in making the country better and more successful, it is NO LONGER about the popularity contest now, but about how we will support our President. I personally did not vote for President Noynoy, but now that he is the President I will support him, I will have my doubts along the way but I will definitely try my best to cheer him on.

Trust in your President, let us not wish for him to fail, but for him to succeed, his success is our success!

P. Noy will definitely have his shortcomings along the way, no one is perfect. But let us remember that he is OUR President, no matter what happens he will be our President, the best we could do for our country is to support him and let him know how he can improve, and let him know his success and failures. Let us not be bitter because the candidate we chose did not win, it is no longer about that. Now it is about how we can help our President heal our country and our people.

Like all Presidents I am sure he will do the best he could, how could he not, when his legacy is forcing him to. Now all he needs is encouragement from the Filipino people, that we will not turn our backs on him when he stumbles, that we will pick him up and continue to cheer him on. It is time for us to be united, it is time for the Philippines to succeed. After so many years of failing, of losing battles against the economy, its about time we change ourselves so our President can help each and every one of us succeed, so we can help the Philippines succeed.
